Open File

To open a file:
- Tap "Tools" item first
- Then select "Open..."
- Select the file in the "Open File" dialog (see the figure below)

: Folder
: Text file , HTML file, or Palm .pdb .prc file
: Other file type
Tap folder icon to change directory, or tap file icon to select the file.

Inner Code Selection (Encoding)

To select the inner code, go to "Settings..." dialog as shown in the left figure.
CJReader supports Big5 (Traditional Chinese), GB (Simplified Chinese), SJIS (Japanese), and EUC (Japanese) codes.

Display Modes

CJReader supports horizonal, vertical, and landscape display modes with underline function.

Background Paper Selection

Currently CJReader provides five background papers.

: Next Page
: Previous Page
: Goto First Page
: Goto Page...
: Set A Bookmark
: This means that there are 25 pages in this file and the current page number is 18.
Progress Bar : Tap on the progress bar moves the current position in the document.

Bookmarks

: Add bookmark
: Delete bookmark (this icon shows up when the current page is a bookmark)
: These two red lines indicate that there are two bookmarks.
The user can tap on (or near) these two lines to jump to the position in the document.
Note: If you open another file, that means you want to read another document so the current bookmarks will be lost.
