Getting started - setting your home time city:

When starting EZGo for the first time, you should set your home time city. Tap on the top left icon , and select your home time city. If it does not appear in the list, you can add it by using the Cities Manager.


There're seven applications within EZGo:

  1. Time Manager
  2. Itinerary Manager
  3. Cities Manager
  4. Map Manager
  5. Currency/Tip Calculator
  6. Unit Conversions
  7. Travel Information Database


Time Manager
Time Display:
Time Display consists of 4 or 5 clocks: the home time clock and 3 or 4 travel clocks. The home time clock is shown on the top area of the screen. The other 3 or 4 clocks are the travel clocks.
User can select to display normal view clock, day and night view clock, or round clock. The day and night view clock is shown in the left figure.
Left figure shows the round clock.
A tap on or icon will pop up the "Time Zone & Clock Settings" dialog. In this dialog, user can set city and time display format (AM/PM format or Military format). The display clock type can also be selected:
: normal view clock
: day and night view clock
: round clock

Alarm Settings:
A tap on icon will pop up the "Alarm Settings" dialog. User can set a specific city for the alarm with backlight feature.
If the alarm is on, an animated icon will be displayed on top of the screen.
A tap on icon will pop up the "Calendar" dialog.

Itinerary Manager
The Trips Window displays the itineraries that user has on file.
  • To add an itinerary, tap ADD button.
  • To edit an itinerary, select it in the list and then tap EDIT button.
  • To delete an itinerary, select it in the list and then tap DELETE button.

A complete itinerary includes many trip segments. Left figure shows "Disney Trip" itinerary includes three trip segments - flight to Orlando, Disney Hotel, and flight to Las Vegas. User can add, edit, or delete any trip segment:
  1. To add a flight segment, tap button.
  2. To add a train segment, tap button.
  3. To add a cruise/ferry segment, tap button.
  4. To add a bus segment, tap button.
  5. To add a hotel/motel, tap button.
  6. To add a car rental, tap button.
  7. To edit a trip segment, tap button.
  8. To delete a trip segment, tap button.
In the "Trip Details" dialog, user can set details for the selected transporation method.
Every trip segment can have its own "Trip Notes" (up to 250 characters).
EZGo would write the trip details information into DateBook as shown in the left figure.
To review the summary of the itinerary, tap "Summary ..." button.

Cities Manager
The Cities Manager is where you add, edit, or delete records from the Cities Database. It provides user with information more than 140 cities. User can add, edit, or delete any city that he needs.
  • To add a city, tap ADD button.
  • To edit a city, select it in the list and then tap EDIT button.
  • To delete a city, select it in the list and then tap DELETE button.

Every city record includes city name, country name, phone country code, phone city code, airport code, latitude and longitude information, time zone information, and daylight saving time details.

Map Manager
The Map Manager shows you mileage information, sunrise time, and sunset time information. As shown in the left figure, the distance between Honolulu and Las Vegas is 2756 miles. The sunrise time in Honolulu is 5:54am on May 20. And it's 5:33am in Las Vegas. The exact locations of these two places are also displayed on the map by blinking icons.
EZGo provides two day and night view world maps (color device only). User can tap "Map" button to switch these maps.

Currency/Tip Calculator
This is a 8-digit calculator with currency conversion functions, plus Tax and Tip functions. The currency database consists of 200 currencies. To use it:
  1. Tap any currency button that you want.
  2. Use it as a standard calculator.
  3. Tap Tax button to calculate the total amount.
  4. Tap Tip button to add tip to the total amount.
  5. Tap other currency button to see its equivalent currency value. (see example below)
For example:
As shown in the figures, 1056.9 USD is equal to 1187.66 EUR (based on 1 EUR = 0.8899 USD).
In the "Currency Exchange Settings" dialog, user can set 6 currency rates, Decimal place, Tip rate, and Tax rate (sales tax; value added tax). Refresh button is used to update the selected currencies from currency database.

Unit Conversions
User can use Unit Conversions to convert an amount measured in one unit into an amount in other units.
There are 6 categories in Unit Conversions: temperature, length, weight, area, volume, and cooking.
User can also set the decimal place for accuracy.

  • MasterCard toll-free numbers
  • Women's dresses and suits sizes
  • Women's shoes sizes
  • Men's suits and overcoats sizes
  • Men's shirts sizes
  • Men's shoes sizes
  • Men's socks sizes
  • Children's clothes sizes
